an outfit post this time... sorta :)

jacket- monsoon, scarf- vintage, charm bracelet- kit heath
this scarf was another purchase from ARK, ie my new fave shop :)
for my 11th birthday i desperately wanted a charm bracelet (i was thinking of those tacky ones with the huge charms). but my ma and pa bought me this thin chain instead and i was pretty gutted :P
now i realise how beautiful it is (it has my name in little silver letters on!) and i wear it 24/7
i always joke that if i forget my name, im fine cos i have it round my wrist :D

this was my lazy-day outfit of the summer :)
the tshirt is from one of my new finds, a fab homewares shop in cambridge called ARK that has a vintage clothing attic! me and my friend peony love the quirky tees and vintage silk scarves.
have you got any favourite shops?

goodnight america

Sorry for the lack of posts :P Ive been busy lately, and on holiday etc.
Im going to the wedding of my parents god daughter in late september, and ive got £100 to spend on an outfit...
...and im stuck!
i cant seem to find anything suitable for a chilly blustery september day :( i doo quite like this asos dress though, i may just have to wear it with black tights to make it more autumn friendly. its a gorgeous colour though and, at £28, not too expensive. if i buy this dress, i can buy a killer pair of shoes to wear with it :D

i went to see the west end show les miserables on thursday and it was incredible :o if you ever get the chance to go see it, take it!

back to school soon... :(

forever you are faithful

Spent a lovely week with my family in Northumberland; lots of quaint tea shops, exuberant castles and beautiful stretches of coast such as the above beach at Embleton.
However, we got some very sad news on Thursday.
The son of my church minister, a brilliant 8 year old boy, died of a brain tumour. He touched so many peoples lives and he will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.
So this heart's for you, Ben...
